When not at work you'll find her spoiling her two new much loved cats at home named Charlie and Chappie.
We were thrilled to have Courtney join the team in 2015. She is an exceptional veterinarian, and brings a wide range of skills and experience to the team. After growing up and completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in Canada, Courtney moved to Brisbane to start her veterinary career. She completed 2 years of post-graduate training in small animal internal medicine and surgery. She then worked as a practice manager at a small animal hospital in Brisbane. After three years adjusting to the Australian heat she migrated to Sydney to work at Vaucluse Vets. Courtney has a special interest in abdominal ultrasonography and soft tissue surgery.
Chelsy has spent over 10 years working at Vaucluse Vet Clinic and is currently qualified with a nursing diploma from TAFE. Chelsy is a highly skilled veterinary nurse with a warm, outgoing personality which has made her a favourite with many of our clients over the years. She can recognize all of our patients by sight as they walk the neighborhood streets. Her passion for rehabilitation and post-operative care keeps all of our pets moving comfortably after big surgeries. When not working (which is rare!), Chelsy and her wonderful dog Halle, love to play ball.
We were so lucky to have Louise join our team in 2014. Louise previously worked at the University of Sydney where she specialized as a small animal anaesthesia nurse. She also holds a diploma in emergency and critical care. You'll find her most days running the show in our surgery department, keeping all the little creatures safe while they're under general anaesthetic. Her love for all animals (but especially cats!) is inspiring, and she ensures that every patient is comfortable, well-fed and well-loved while they're in our care. When not at work, she enjoys spoiling her adorable cat Boombalina.
Kaitlyn Ash has been nursing at Vaucluse Vet for one and a half years. She started working at Vaucluse Vet in August 2017 and has proved to be an invaluable asset to the team. At home, Kaitlyn lives with her bitzer Odie.
Snoop Dogg is our wonderful clinic cat. Snoopy spends his days sprawled across the reception countertop begging for attention and smooching with clients.
